  • Ann Blackburn

Ann Blackburn provides consultancy and training services to clients across a range of industry sectors including the aeroskills, automotive, beauty therapy, construction, food processing, government, general education, hospitality, manufacturing, mining industry, performing arts, real estate, security and a number of smaller entrepreneurial firms.

Ann has held varied positions within large organisations in Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Sales and Line Management.

She has extensive experience in the development of quality systems both for ISO and the AQTF.  Ann’s interest in Quality Management Systems (QMS) evolved from her experience in establishing practical working systems within organizations in the manufacturing industry.  Her “whole systems approach” approach is evident in her QMS work and extends to her training and assessment practices.

Ann delivers nationally accredited Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and a range of Management programs.  Her learning and development practices are customized to meet organisational and individual needs.  Her programs are supported by workplace mentoring and coaching activities which enhance the application of developmental learning.

Ann’s experience in writing training materials and assessment materials which meet the requirements of the AQTF is extensive and she provides technical advice on audits and registrations to the Department of Employment, Training and the Arts, Queensland Government. She has extensive experience as a consultant and auditor in assisting Registered Training Organisations to meet compliance and product development requirements.

She is a qualified Quality Management System Assessor/Auditor, an accredited RPL assessor, qualified Trainer and Assessor, Workplace Health & Safety Officer, an accredited assessor for the Manufacturing Engineering and Related Services ITAB, and is a Queensland Justice of Peace (Qualified).

Ann possess qualifications in Quality Management Systems Assessor/Auditor, Diploma of Training and Assessment Systems, a Diploma of Frontline Management, and a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, Bachelor of Business (Commerce) and nominated subjects in a Bachelor of Adult & Vocational Teaching.  Ann is a member of Vocational Education Training Industry Group, Queensland.
